BELEN ROMANO

Belen plays the 

bandoneon, an instrument with a very special sound which makes folk Argentinian music and especially tango very distinguishable.

 

Belén has a wide experience in the music field as a bandoneon player, singer and choir conductor in Argentina as well as in Sweden. She has performed with Orfeón de Buenos Aires, Las Del Abasto, Alejandro Terán, Pericos, Ariel Prat, Carlos Galván, Raul Lavié among others musicians. She has performed throughout Europe as a member of Cuarteto Bien Frappe and the vocal group La Tango. She has taken lessons with Nestor Marconi, Rodolfo Mederos, Marinero Montes and Walter Castro.
